fall loves

These are my fall loves for this season.  It’s the stuff I’m loving right now and totally can’t live without (you know how it is).

Shoe Love for Fall

I got these Uterqüe booties a few weeks ago and I’m totally in love with them. I call them my Beatle boots cause well, obviously! They have that old school vibe while managing to be sleek and modern at the same time.  The stacked heel just makes them even more perfect because I can actually wear them all day without dying. This is everything you need in a go-to boot.

These Top Shop lace-up ballet flats are also a current favourite. Again, comfort and style in the same shoe (my age is starting to shine through since comfort has started to become somewhat of a factor in my choice of footwear). The only drawback is that the freakin’ tassels with the laces make them a pain to get on, but they’re what make the shoe (first world problems, i know). There must be an easier way but I’ve yet to figure it out. Does anyone else have these types of shoes? Any secrets on how to get them on without wanting to throw them across the room every time you’re in a rush to leave the house?

I’m lusting over these adidas sneakers cause I realized that I don’t have a pair of sleek all black sneakers that I can walk around all day in and not look like a total tourist (which by the way, completely happened a couple of weeks ago). I haven’t gotten them yet because I need another pair of shoes like I need a kick in the head, but I can’t seem to get them out of my head (another dilemma).

fall beauty loves

I have this thing for the Urban Decay Naked palettes and the proof is here and here. So naturally I was drooling over Naked Smoky from the moment it was announced. My husband’s the best and of course he surprised me with it. I’ve only used it once (can’t you tell how much I needed a new palette in my life) however I am happy to report that the purply shade called smolder is to die for. This is one of those totally necessary but unnecessary kind of things, you know what I mean? Please tell me I’m not the only one with these types of “needs”.

I already mentioned the NARS lip pencil in Dragon Girl as a summer beauty bliss but this colour can definitely transition into fall. I’m still loving it as much as I did this summer. Thank you Taylor Swift for recommending it (I know, I know, but she is the Queen of the Universe right now).

Fall loves at www.laughlovekiss.comI don’t normally like Forever 21 because let’s face it, I’m not 22 and a size 2 however I stumbled on their hat selection when I was creeping on their Contemporary line. You can’t beat the prices and considering how cheap these hats are, they fall pretty nicely. I’m one of those hat people and this has fed my fall hat fetish without breaking the bank (so a win-win in my book). The grey one pretty much goes with everything. The bowler was on sale and I’m probably to old to wear this type of thing but I find that it adds a cute playfulness to my looks.
Fall loves at www.laughlovekiss.comI love this CrossFit t-shirt!!! This tee pretty much sums up how CrossFit makes me feel and yes I’m one of those CrossFit people. Is anyone else going to the Invitational this year?

I find that one of the best parts of fall is getting back to your good habits and your routine. I mentioned my love for Yoga here but I‘ve just recently realized how MUCH I need Yoga because I stopped for 9 months and my body was completely off as a result. I just got back to my weekly Yoga class but I find that Yoga videos are a good complement for when I want to get some Yoga in on the weekend or work on specific postures.  I’ve been a yoga_girl follower since discovering Instagram and Rachel’s just launched one o eight which is a one-stop shop for wellness. I wish I were a true yogi but I’m just a beginner and the classes that I’ve tried so far are good and totally doable for someone like me (they seem to have a lot of more advanced classes as well so I think this is for anyone and everyone). I signed up for the 10 day free trial and I think I’m going to stick with it because it’s a pretty good value at 14$/month.

That’s it for this season!  I know this was a seriously long post but I wanted to include everything I’m into without leaving anything out.  What are your must-haves right now?   I always love to hear what others “need”, so make sure to share in the comments section.
