I’ve hit the beauty jackpot in the last few months because I’ve loved everything I’ve bought and use it all regularly. This is what I can’t live without on my beauty bliss: summer edition:
Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado: I’m obsessed with this eye cream cause it’s just amazing. It’s super creamy so it does take a little extra work around the eyes to get it absorbed but it’s totally worth it because my eye area is properly moisturized all day long. It works really well under make-up so this is a no-brainer for me.
Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Dragon Girl: I LOVE T. Swift (you can hate me later) and of course I was totally crushing on her red lips since she released her Red album. I did what any sensible girl crush would do and I googled it and got the answer which was Dragon Girl. I love this colour cause it’s red but you can wear it all year round cause it has a pinkish undertone so you can totally swing it in the summer. And this is the first time I tried these pencils but they’re freakin’ amazing!!! So easy to use, easy to put on and it goes on really well so definitely a MUST BY!
Essie nail Picked Perfect: This colour may look boring but it’s the bomb! I promise that once you try it, you’ll want to wear it all summer. It’s the perfect neutral because it actually has colour cause it’s not transparenty but it’s a gorgeous beige that I think will look good on anybody. It totally looks crazy good with a tan as well.
Dove Summer Glow Nourishing Lotion for Medium to Dark skin: I just saw this at the grocery store and thought why not except when I got home I noticed it was for medium to dark skin. I guess I’m medium skin but on the fairer side but the lotion wasn’t very dark so I thought I’d give it a try. This stuff is great and cheap! It’s a really great moisturizing lotion. It goes on super smooth and it lasts and leaves your skin super soft. The gradual tanning starts right away and I noticed a hint of colour the next day. You definitely get bang for your buck with this product.
GlamGlow Thirstymud Hydrating Treatment: This stuff is the bomb!!! It’s a thirst-quencher and leaves your skin super hydrated and dare I say it??? Moist!!!! Your skin feels plumper and dewier after using it. I just throw on a super thin layer which is absorbed in about 20 minutes and that’s it! I also followed their advice to use it on a long haul flight and I noticed a major difference. I put a layer on my skin once the plane took off and I didn’t have tough dry skin at all during my flight. This has become a definite must-have in my carry-on.
